Would very much like a way to have enemies use other enemies as shields. I
tried plotscripting my way to it, but failed. Have one enemy untargetable until
"shield" enemy is destroyed.
I also tried something like having the enemy sprite untargetable by heroes, set
to die without boss, and the shield as the boss, then set a spawn on death to
bring a different enemy with the same picture and with the untargetable by
heroes bitset off, but I could only have that one enemy on the field, or
rather, those two/three.
I suppose what I'm suggesting is a "Enemy is connected to" or "attached to"
feature where enemies treat the selected partner as different things. Shield,
Die without, others.
And the "lightning rod" would be a possible bitset to attract all incoming
attacks, until death, or on elemental hit.
What do you think?
