Actually, I got that message yesterday. I've just been busy so haven't
tried it out yet or even looked at the code.

I thought that Android provides a way to store private files/data that
persist even if the application in uninstalled and reinstalled.
However I can't find it right now (if the docs fail to mention that a
data storage location is wiped when the app is uninstalled, does that
mean it's not?)
