I think that I added `pure` because I thought I would use it, but didn't, and
I've since forgotten about it.
It's probably best to download and link to the official SDL framework builds.
SConscript contains `FRAMEWORKS_PATH`, but it's not customisable yet. So it
expects framesworks either in ~/Library/Frameworks or in /Library/Frameworks.)
Additionally if `sdl2-config` is installed, `sdl2-config --cflags` is used
instead for the `-I` include path, so you'd have to uninstall SDL from homebrew
if switching to frameworks.
