The change below to slim_source fixes the problem with the grub menu. /dev-il repo and old 151 ISOs were built with the change below applied.

It looks like the splashimage bits are missing so your bootfs line runs on to the kernel line. I can't reproduce it with the Live ISO (gui installer) so am wondering if you installed from the Text installer.
