Hello, Adam
I decided to involve in OI development and have a few questions.
As I see your repo was not updated for half of year, are you stopped
work on oi-build?
Will the next OI builds base on oi-build compiled with gcc 4.4.4, or
should I stick to default oi-build?
Probably you can give me some tasks? :) I can start from simple
tasks :)

You already did that with gcc44. There are two packages gcc-44
(compiler) and gcc-44-runtime (runtime). It was issue 1248.

May need to split up the runtime packages if that
hasn't been done already. I owe an update to illumos-gcc
to do that, based on recent illumos-dev mails w/
richlowe.
Hi,
in the past few weeks I was working on importing
Bayard's gcc44 (the one used in oi-experimental) into
current oi-build. Huge amount of packages can be build
without any problems. I worked on problematic one and
I have covered almost half of them. I'm posting first
changeset for review. I plan to post the next
changeset in the second half of the november, so it is
easier to review.
I also published the output from "gmake publish" in
every component did. (txt files can be used directly
by browsers)
Cheers,
Adam
