As the interviewer, I feel I should clear things up here.
At Unixmen, we had already interviewed Alasdair regarding his resignation. That
was a good interview and Alasdair was very open and honest with us.
I expected the same from Garrett. Instead, his responses were short and
straight to the point. Nothing more, nothing less. And that is fine because I
think it really shows how Garrett Feels about OpenIndiana.
I admit the original questions were worded different, but my intention of the
resulting answer was identical. It was a small mistake of words and lack of
understanding of Garrett's position (or lack of) within the OI project which
prompted me to reword the questions prior to publishing the interview, as the
original questions just didn't make sense to the given answers.
I really thank Garrett for his answers given because he was obviously smart
enough to understand what I was really trying to ask.
I hope this puts the whole thing in to perspective and clears up any confusion.
