This should not affect the dependences, the admin should
be able to point /usr/bin/perl to wherever he wants, since
the usual setup is that, besides of perl5.10, there is
another, maybe threaded, more modern version as user default.
System scripts should never call /usr/bin/perl if they depend
on the specific behaviour or vendor scripts delivered there,
but the system perl location directly. There have been occasional
bugs with this type of error, so please don't repeat that.
Of course, in /hipster, all types of such breakages are to
be expected any time, but nobody expects the /usr/bin/perl
in the final release....
