DBG: md_enable: algorithm 7 not available

My personal build of AIDE (Intrusion detection program) stopped
running. When I tried to build again (static linkage), configure dies
when it hits zlib and says that it can't find deflate(). Configuring for
dynamic linkage works for the git head (not the last official release
with gcc 4.7 because of missing definitions like off_t) and builds
fine. When it runs it complains:
