Hi Udo,qt 4.7.4 is installed in /usr/g++/lib/ on oi151a7-9 dev. I do not think qt has ever been provided by Openindiana, I suspect you installed it from SFE ?
It has the SFE library/desktop/g++/[email protected] as well as the OI library/c++/stdcxx/qt Apache C++ (probably Studio compiled) in /usr/stdcxx/lib/ , so it is provided from SFE as well as from OI. I used them for several self compiled stuff, they work well.
Should Qt delivered by hipster use the same install path as SFE ?
Since Hipster should be all gcc/g++, a separate path would not make any sense, it should go into the standard path /usr/lib/. -- Dr.Udo Grabowski Inst.f.Meteorology & Climate Research IMK-ASF-SAT http://www.imk-asf.kit.edu/english/sat.php KIT - Karlsruhe Institute of Technology http://www.kit.edu Postfach 3640,76021 Karlsruhe,Germany T:(+49)721 608-26026 F:-926026
