Hello all, I've got a question from Jenkins CI team: they have recently started a Platform SIG (https://jenkins.io/sigs/platform/) to have a venue to talk about platform and Java support in Jenkins. It may be interesting to Illumos since it is one of the platforms which could be discussed there (e.g. we regularly package Jenkins in OpenIndiana). There are also other SIGs like a Cloud-Native one (poke SmartOS as a hoster of swarm agents backed by multiple technologies? and other distros with zones and VMs as well...)
Would we be interested to join? And who in person? I think it would be a good opportunity to both let illumos be better known and considered, and to have mutually better support with Jenkins CI, and see what's desired and expected by today's users - for us to evolve towards continued relevance :) The next meetings are expected in Hangouts voice/chat sometime next week.
