Yes, I now think too that's a hassle with those pesky "snap" versions,
those very annoyingly seem to get easily confused on updates and keep
outdated versions of the profile directory and caches in several unusual
places. Time to get rid of "snap", it breaks numerous stuff and fixes
nothing.

Got that one working again by deleting all the snap profiles and
settings, copying from a working 133 profile into a new one, but some
recent bookmarks and passwords were lost (I should backup more
frequently...).

That may just be snap and Ubuntu's quality which has gone down
recently. And considering how bloated tech companies are these days
that trend may continue.

Since Andreas has already answered with his test from other OSs I
think it's save to say its Cannical and not Mozilla that caused
that.

A hint: Do not update Firefox to version 134.0.0 or 134.0.1, it's tremendosly broken and eats all your settings, bookmarks,
passwords, and chrome user scripts ! Just had this experience with
the snap version on Ubuntu. Up to 133.x it's ok.
