So, here's a first "release candidate" version of the RLA reader. Features include full metadata handling and reading uint8, uint16 as well as float32 image data. Of the test image suite that Jeremy provided (commit 41db1514fd9854b868e6691ed4907f7bfd5ea225) only imgmake_rgba_nc16.rla displays subtle artifacts which I'm hoping to correct tomorrow (haven't done it yet because I wanted to focus on rounding out other features.
As I wrote in the off-list email, I'm leaving for a mountain trip on Monday morning and will be offline for 6 days, but I'm taking my laptop with me and hope to bring back a functional RLA writer.
