Hello, I have submitted my proposal for the project iv thumbnail view ( http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/proposal/review/google/gsoc2012/panks42/19001 ). Please give a look to it and put some suggestion and/or comments. The thumbnails generation is one thing I need to work upon. What do you suggest could be the best way for it? I am anyway, planning to run a separate thread for generation of thumbnails. Should I go for implementing nearest-neighbor scaling? or you have anything else in mind? Sorry for sending this email again, but if I would get the reply soon, I would do some more search in that direction and will modify my proposal accordingly.
