Hello,

I have downloaded and installed Vistual Studio 2010 Express from Microsoft official site. And downloaded/installed all the necessary files/programs for building OIIO, they are:

1. BoostPro 1.50.0 Installer (32-bit) at: http://www.boostpro.com/download/ 2. Qt-4.7.3-dev-msvc2010-rds at: http://qt-windows-binaries.googlecode.com/svn/site/QtWindowsBinaries
3. CMake 2.8.10 at: http://www.cmake.org/
4. OIIO Externals at: http://www.openimageio.org/external.zip

I want to build VS 2010 sln file for OIIO with CMake, but I encountered the same problem at here: http://www.cmake.org/pipermail/cmake/2011-May/044166.html

I can hardly understand the discribed solution for this problem in the above page.

So , I tried to download and install "Microsoft Visual /C++ 2010 Redistributable/ Package" for my machine, but in vain. CMake still reports:

"system runtime library file does not exist:
'MSVC10_REDIST_DIR-NOTFOUND/x86/Microsoft.VC100.CRT/msvcp100.dll' "

I have Visual Studio .NET 2003 (non-express). But there is no Qt for it.

Please teach me a feasible solution for how to build and compile OIIO in details (step by step). Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Ma Xiaoguang
