I'm using the 'BUILDSTATIC=1' option in my make and trying to create a
statically-linkable version of oiio, but the build is giving me a ton of
'recompile with -fPIC' errors. PIC on a static build makes sense. Are
we missing a link option in the cmake/make files somewhere? Or am I
missing something on my side?
