hmm, I will create a jira issue and if this error message occur again, please add your stack trace to jira. Maybe we can isolate the problem this way.

ok, I tried it too a few minutes ago but I always get a proxy error from apache-jira and it's unacceptably lame.
(Of course, in accordance with Murphy's Law, it passed just now...) :-)
think you will never get this error, till we close the jira issue ;-)
