Yes, it would be consistent to implement these methods on the other
iterators as well.

There is no problem when the resultset is presented as a collection. Why is
that?
Is the collection build by iterating over the resultset?
Suppose i do not call the releaseresources method, what would happen? Would
it produce a memory leak?
