hi, this is, i think, kind of the core issue, of several related issues/bug reports to the list indicating SQLExceptions being thrown. The getCountQuery method from the BrokerHelper, used within the persistencebroker implementation, generates the wrong sql syntax for count queries. It should disregard settings like the 'set attributes', or the 'order by'. As it is, it uses these when building the query. This results in wrong SQL syntax and this fault translates into several related bugs (like the now faulty size and fullSize methods of OJBIterator implementations, and of course the getCount method on PersistenceBroker). greetings again, Roger Janssen iBanx
