Antonio:

I insist in the fact that we use PostgreSQL sequences and that works
fine. The problems appear when we use OJB's assignment of unique values.
What Thomas suggested was to use another sequence manager and we were
already using SequenceManagerNextValImpl and everything worked OK in
this case.
I'm just reporting that when we used the default OJBs sequence
manager (and this means no PostgreSQL sequences) we found problems.

About upgrading... yes, possibly it is a time costless process but I
don't really know when we will do it, it could we a week or three months
thats why I can't repeat this test in RC6 right now.
