AHA!  I am NOT on Linux OR Windows, I'm on Mac OS X.  I am using the
standard downloaded binaries from the site, unzipped the dir and just ran
ant.  Ant has been setup for a while and it runs fine in there.  I guess I'm
going to have to setup a full project with source code and debug it for you
to see why it would fail under OS X.

Thanks for the pointer on where the DDL is, I will work with it to simplify
my life right now, and will run some debugging on the build process to see
why and where it fails.
