Which API

Ok, so I have got started with OJB. Now the next question is which api should I use?

The "native" one ie Broker etc

The ODMG one

or JDO (I don't think this is a runner yet as it does not seem clear where I go from here to get into that).

I originally started with the intention of using JDO but a) am not entirely clear how good an idea that is b) when it is likely to be fully ready (the docs talk of missing bits like query, do I need to do anything else different for JDO?).

So what do people recommend? At the moment ODMG just looks like a bit more work and less docs immediately available, but is obviously a standard (but how widely used?). Without ODMG I don't need any OJB tables in my dbms which is nice.
