I've experienced this same problem when moving to 0.9.9. Actually I've seen it for some weeks, since I work from the CVS version. I use Resin rather than Tomcat, so it isn't restricted to one app server. As with Steve's experience, it stopped working when the only thing that had changed was upgrading OJB.
