Hi,

you can put POSIX regular expressions in these input dialogs to filter for
certain catalogs and schemas. If you do not want to filter or do not feel
comfortable with regex, just leave these fields blank. A blank regular
expression will match any string, so you will not filter anything.

If you want to reverse engineer an Oracle database, it might be a good idea
to leave the catalog regex blank (Oracle doesn't know the concept of
catalogs) and fill the name of the schema the tables are in (ie. the name of
the user who owns the tables). That way you will save a lot of time,
especially with large oracle databases, where reading can take its time.

regards,

Florian
