Oracle DB URL = jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:ORCL
and the configuration will be like
dbalias="thin:@localhost:1521:ORCL" protocol="jdbc" subprotocol="oracle" username="scott" password="tiger"
I haven't setup Orcale connection before, I could be wrong.

I believe you can refer to the sample xml descriptors that are included in the distribution file. For addition help you can refer to the OJB website under repository.xml. I hope you are not referring to some peculiar settings for Orcale connection.
