Good/Best Practices with OJB

Hey all, I am collecting information for OJB documentation howto's that 
answer the most commonly asked questions put forth to this list. While 
we have a good FAQ, there are often questions that require more lengthy 
answers than the FAQ is meant to provide and hsould probably be 
included in the documentation for OJB.

Examples of HOWTO's include getting LOB's to work correctly, initial 
setup/configuration type stuff, and best practices for using it. Right 
now I am looking for tidbits of good practices for OJB - what works 
well, what are gotchas to be avoided?
