Hi again,

When we started OJB JDO was not there. The only real object persistence API
available was ODMG. That's why we started with ODMG.
We can not simply drop ODMG support only because the ODMG site is down! ODMG
is a mature API and we have a clear commitment to our users that we will
support this API!
We will continue to support ODMG!

As you will have noticed we have a working JDO plugin and plan to have a
full JDO implementation in 2.0.
We will also support other object persistence standard APIs like S.O.D.A.

cheers,
Thomas
