Sorry, I have an amendment to my previously posted message. The code sample I provided "retrieveNullReferences()" calls broker.retrieveReference() on ReferenceDescriptors and CollectionDescriptors that ARE null. I think I stated in my previous message that it called broker.retrieveReference() where they are NOT null.
