It seems that you run xdoclet in debug mode as the messages you see are from xdoclet itself (to be more precise, they are debug logging messages from the template engine). The only explanation that I have is that you have logging properties (commons logging or log4j) that specify the default log level as DEBUG, and these are then also used by xdoclet.
