Hi, Only by "sneaking round the backdoor" to get a connection, and preparing/executing/etc the statment yourself. See http://db.apache.org/ojb/faq.html#FAQ25, Question : Can I directly obtain a java.sql.Connection within OJB?
BTW Thomas Et Al : The HTML anchors in the FAQ don't seem to working. I don't think the sections are being generated with the anchors. Cheers, Charles. > -----Original Message----- > From: Axel Hohaus [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: 19 September 2003 09:13 > To: OJB Users List > Subject: Sql command to compact database > > > Hi, > > Is it possible to send a SQL-statment to database with ojb, > that ist not > a select, insert, delete, update. > > i.e. hsqldb needs the statement 'shutdown compact' to transfer entries > from script to data-file by cached tables. > > Thanks Axel > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > This email and any attachments are strictly confidential and are intended solely for the addressee.
