Upgrade form 0.9.5 to 1.0rc4 : wildcard problems

Hi,

In version 0.9.5 it was possible to use wildcards in where-criteria.
Example :
  criteria.addEqualTo("productGroup.groupName","pro*gro?p 1");
This seems not to work anymore in 1.0rc4 ?
Is it a bug ?
