Hi,
It's not neccessary to store Maps and Sets in Blobs.
You can store HashMaps as any other collections by using a
collectiondescriptor:
Java:
HashMap myHashMap;
Repository:
<collection-descriptor
name="myHashMap"
element-class-ref="my.elementClass"
collection-class="org.apache.ojb.broker.util.collections.ManageableHashMap"
