...Does anyone are using MySQL and OJB in production-quality project?
I'm starting a new prj, I'm oriented towards this DB, but I'd like to know if there is some "success story"....

I've been working with MySQL and OJB for 6 months without problems, although the load the system supports it's not too big, so I can't assure you the behavior in a heavy-loaded environment.
