This is not very easily done in OJB 1.0.x. The handling of this
has been refactored for OJB 1.1 and I doubt any major improvents
are likely to be back-ported to the maintenance branch.
There is a technology preview of OJB 1.1 in the works (can't give
any exact timeframe for this) if you are working on a development
project and can stand some non-production-ready code I would
suggest that you get the latest code from CVS HEAD and start
reading up on OJB 1.1 instead (which might save you a great deal
of frustration).

P.S. I'm not saying that it's impossible with 1.0.x, if you still
want to pursue this task please give some more input about what
references are still beeing cached after your releaseAllResources()
calls.
