Apache now has a JDO project which currently is focused on the JDO2 TCK and the JDO1 RI. They might be planning to create a Apache JDO 2 implementation, but I'm not sure about that (there's is no info about that on their site or in their wiki, but you could ask). If they are planning to do so, I think we will work together with the JDO people to create an OJB binding.
