I previously had posted a problem with MySQL + OJB + BLOB / LONGVARBINARY...It seemed that all BLOBs were being truncated at 64kb. Originally I suspected the JDBC driver, but this is not the case.
FYI: MySQL uses 4 different sized collumns for BLOB types. 1,2,3,4 byte sizes. And it uses different collumn types. TINYBLOB, BLOB, MEDIUMBLOB, LONGBLOB... http://www.mysql.com/doc/en/BLOB.html I just thought I would share this with everyone as it was a great source of frustration for me.
