3. Performance. The person that wrote the thread about performance, said
that they did some kind of performance test with both and that there was a
factor of nine difference between the two. A bold statement, and one that

that whole thread is so full of HS that it's barely worth replying to.
"Posting a request to add prepared statement support to OBJ, I got a response that
says - we might include it in future implementation..."
we've had prepared statement support for a long time now.
one thing that's in the thread that is true is "They even use their cache to do stuff
like resolve circular references, etc."
I believe we can refactor this out, then run cleanly with the "empty" cache.
overall, the only thing you can say is:
two different products, two different approaches.
don't believe anecdotal performance measurements.
both projects can learn a lot from each other.
