Hi Michael,

The OJB distribution contains some very long (> 100 characters) path/filenames.
such long names are not supported by some "old" tar implementations.
Linux tar and also Winzip have no problems with these long names.

I had no problems to compile 0.9.7 against JDK 1.3 on windows.
Are you sure that the source code has been preprocessed properly?

please try again to run:
bin\build clean
bin\build junit
