hi group! the last weeks i did some modifications to ojb i attached to this mail. we are doing internal tests with this ojb version since about a week and didn't have a single crash in client / server mode (solution can be found in class BrokerPool, problem was, that closed PersistenceBrokers were re-used). i also made client / server compression configurable (can be turned on and off, off by default). i did the compression thing only to PersistenceBrokerServlet, not to the other servers. i hope, you can apply my changes to the next official release.
