Hey all, I'm working on a project where there is a "scratch pad" of search results. This means that there is a persistent list of search results in the database at all times, so each row in the search results executes an insert/update statement.
The problem occurs when a search results with 5000+ records takes about 1 minute to execute (aka 5000+ insert/update statements). This may be more of a database question but how can I do this efficiently? Is there some way to update a collection of objects quickly in OJB? Any Ideas?
