Para listas eu acho bacana o mailman. Já para gerir domínios de emails (criação e manutenção de mailboxes e aliases), eu já usei o postfix + postfixadmin (interface de gerência) e resolvia bem o problema, mas faz alguns anos já que eu lidei com isso, não sei se tem algo melhor hoje em dia.
E para interface de webmail, um dos mais tradicionais, e que é usado pelo Dreamhost, é o SquirrelMail.
