Hi Susanne,

Just adding to what Everton said, it is important that our logo has the name written in Portuguese: "Open Knowledge Brasil" and not "Open Knowledge Brazil" as it is now.

Thank you!

Best,
jamila

Hi Susanne!

Yes, you understood it right! We'd like to use the neutral logo and change only the name bellow it, written "Open Knowledge Brasil". If you can also add the "Rede pelo Conhecimento Livre" bellow it, so much better. :)

With the vector file of the neutral logo, we can even draw the Brazilian country shape, as Ireland did <http://openknowledge.ie/>, which I think is very cool.

This actual center with BR in the middle is too bold and different from the more neutral one, which we have already been using at our sites, cards and presentations, although we still don't have the vector files. Thanks for doing this!

    Hi Everton

if I understand your message on the local list correctly, you
would rather not have the BR letters in the middle of the circle
in the new Brasil logo, but have the same red striped/rays as in
the Open Knowledge logo and just have 'Open Knowledge Brazil' on
the right side of the icon?

The rays/lines are different from the international logo in the
local ones because otherwise the country letters wouldn't fit
properly. So the options we have are
    1. no letters in the middle and the red shape the same as on the
    Open Knowledge logo, or
    2. 'BR' in the middle, the way it is on here
    https://drive.google.com/a/okfn.org/#folders/0ByBC-sFwdwtJYXVSeHRvMmtBQVU

If you confirm that I understand this correctly and you want to
change to the 'neutral' center (from 2. to 1.), we can do this for
you - just let me know you want it changed and we'll look into it
    asap.

    Susanne
