workshop will be on tuesday 28th october from 7pm til 9pm, hosted at
the trampery in shoreditch (thanks to trampoline systems). in response
to feedback from the last event there will be fewer presentations and
more space for open discussion. everyone welcome. the event is free.

last week i gave a presentation on emergent democracy to an audience
of senior technology executives in edinburgh, the first time i've
spoken on this subject to a mainstream business crowd. i focused on
the impact democratic innovations would have on corporate governance
and the relationship between businesses, boards of directors and
shareholders. i wasn't sure how it would be received but people were
really interested. this gives me a lot of encouragement that it's
going to be possible to bring forward initiatives involving the
business community.
