After more than a year of drafting and consultation with interested
communities, especially Open Street Map, Open Data Commons has
recently released for public comments a beta draft of its
("Attribution, Share-Alike") Open Database License (ODbL):

The current provisional deadline for comments is 23:59 GMT on 20 March 2009.
Details on how to submit comments are given on the ODbL license page
given above.
