That's great news. One suggestion/request, assuming you're going to make the data underlying the visualization available as data of some sort it's be great (essential even) to do it as linked-data, tying the departments to dbpedia entries or some other unique identifier.
I know from doing OpenlyLocal.com, it's really difficult to use lots of the datasets you'd like to without a fair bit of work, as there's no reference id, and so end up string matching. Classic recent example Department of Communities and Local Govt study on happiness which output a list of Local Authorities together with various scores but without using the ONS SNAC codes for the LAs.
