Hello, It's nearly a year since the first National hack The Government Day (which looked something like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tags/rewiredstate/?page=13). With all the data.gov.uk stuff that's happened in the last year it seemed like a good time to do it again and see what people can actually make with all teh data that's been released (other than ontologies ;). So National Hack the Government Day 2010 is going to be on Saturday 20th march at the Guardian: http://rewiredstate.org/hackthegovday2010 The idea is we make stuff, then eat and drink whilst watching short presentations of what people have come up with. Then prizes, then more beer. During the day it's only open to makers (developers/designers etc), but if you just want to see what people come up with you can come along for the presentations in the evening. cheers, Richard -- /* [email protected] memespring.co.uk ++44 7976730458 memespring (flickr/skype/etc) memspr (aim) */ -- Jonathan Gray Community Coordinator The Open Knowledge Foundation http://blog.okfn.org http://twitter.com/jwyg http://identi.ca/jwyg _______________________________________________ okfn-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.okfn.org/mailman/listinfo/okfn-discuss
