Something's wrong on your computer, from the shell i assume you are using
Ubuntu hardy. I have an installation here and the kpdf from it can read the pdf
file wihtout problems, are you sure you did not disable continuous view?
Can you attach a screenshot showing the problem in both okular and kpdf?
