I have a Debian Lenny machine with the KDE4 packages from the kde4.debian.net
backports repository. In order to test the embedded video feature I downloaded
and installed the sources of poppler 0.9.2 and last friday's okular svn.
Okular
starts up and (upon request) brings on the following information:
Qt: 4.4.0
KDE: 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.1)
Okular: 0.7.80
However, as soon as I try to load any document the program aborts with
ASSERT: "genericServiceTypePtr" in file
/tmp/buildd/kde4libs-4.1.1/kdecore/services/kmimetypetrader.cpp, line 107
I am not convinced that this is an okular bug, but I didn't know where else to
file it.
