Summary: /tmp full: remote files are not opened, local files are unpacked locally Product: okular Version: unspecified Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS/Version: unspecified Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Comicbook backend AssignedTo: okular-devel@kde.org ReportedBy: bluedz...@wp.pl Version: (using KDE 4.4.0) Installed from: SuSE RPMs In case of /tmp is full okular reports for remote files, that it cannot open a file (and no more info why), in case of local files, they are unpacked in place and then the unpacked files are not deleted. Thus opening big comicbook (in case of local file) leads to mess in the directory. When /tmp directory is full, with current design, okular should not continue with opening the file. However -- the wish for the bug -- it would be great if okular didn't use hard disk at all, and just read the file directly from the archive (after all comic book files are just archives). Btw. with current design there is also a double bug in Okular settings -- aggressive mode says "keeps everything in memory". Unpacking files to disk is for sure not keeping everything in memory. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel
