Current annotation tools lack the ability to insert a little '^' shape.
It should work as follows:
- When selected, one should have the 'text' cursor, like for the highlight
annotation tool
- Clicking should insert the 'caret' shape with a fixed size just slightly
smaller than a character.
- Insertion point should be such that the upper corner of the caret has x
coordinate equal to the x coordinate of the cursor and y coordinate equal to
the baseline of the character to the left of the cursor.
Please see the screenshot from foxit pdf reader that implements this feature
correctly.
