It claims, that it can detect when you are trying to draw an 'E' as gesture, but even struggles at detecting a 'D'. I had to draw it in exactly one style. Do you know which library (if any) xournal uses? Shape recognition could make annotating much more fluent, because you don't have to chose the right annotation tool every time.
